Doudou App Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

Doudou collects only the data necessary to provide and improve your baby tracking experience:

• Baby profile: name, gender, and birth date provided during setup.
• Activity logs: feeding times, diaper changes, sleep sessions, and other events you record.
• App preferences: language, notification settings, and display preferences.
• Anonymous analytics: app usage patterns, screen views, and crash reports collected via PostHog. No personally identifiable information is sent to analytics.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Display timelines, summaries, and insights based on your baby's recorded activities.
• Enable caregiver sync so multiple family members can track and coordinate care.
• Improve the app through anonymous, aggregated usage analytics. We do not use your data for behavioral advertising or profiling without your consent.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly for app functionality:

• PostHog (self-hosted): receives anonymous usage events. No IP addresses or personal identifiers are stored.
• Google AdMob: displays ads that are non-personalized by default and only personalized with your explicit consent (ATT on iOS / UMP). AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad delivery but does not receive your baby's data.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the service:

• Baby profile and activity logs: stored locally on your device and synced with connected family members. If you uninstall the app, all local data is permanently deleted.
• Anonymous analytics data: retained for up to 12 months, then automatically purged.
• Upon a data deletion request, we delete all associated server-side data (including synced family data) within 30 days. Local device data is deleted immediately upon app uninstall.

5. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access & export: request a copy of your data by emailing privacy@trainrboost.com.
• Deletion: request complete deletion of your data by emailing privacy@trainrboost.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
• Correction: request correction of inaccurate personal data at any time.

6. Children's Privacy

Doudou is designed for parents and caregivers, not for use by children. While the app tracks baby-related data, this data is entered and managed by adult caregivers. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children.
