Doudou App Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

Doudou collects only the data necessary to provide and improve your baby tracking experience:

• Baby profile: first name, gender, birth date, and the birth weight and length if you enter them. If you use family sync, these are stored on our server so the other caregivers see them.
• Activity log: feedings, diaper changes, sleep, growth, supplements, and any free-text note you write. With family sync, these are stored on our server too.
• App preferences: language, notification settings, and display preferences.
• Pseudonymous usage analytics via PostHog Cloud EU: screens opened, features used, crash reports. They carry a random install identifier, your app version and device model, and your IP address reaches the server. Your baby's name never goes there.
• If you turn reminders on: a push token with your language and time zone, sent to our own server so the reminder arrives at the right time.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Display timelines, summaries, and insights based on your baby's recorded activities.
• Enable caregiver sync so multiple family members can track and coordinate care.
• Improve the app through pseudonymous usage analytics, and show ads in the free tier. We never sell your data and never build advertising profiles ourselves.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly for app functionality:

• PostHog Cloud EU — pseudonymous usage events, hosted in the European Union. Your IP address, device model and a random install identifier reach the server. Your baby's name and your notes never do.
• Google AdMob: displays ads that are non-personalized by default and only personalized with your explicit consent (ATT on iOS / UMP). AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad delivery but does not receive your baby's data.
• Our own server (trainrboost.com, hosted in France) — family sync and reminders. This is where the baby profile and the activity log live when family sync is on.
• RevenueCat, Apple and Google — subscription status and payment for the premium plan.
• Expo (u.expo.dev) — the app checks for a new version at launch, which tells Expo your platform, app version and IP address.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the service:

• Without family sync, everything stays on your device and uninstalling removes it. With family sync on, the baby profile and the activity log are stored on our server so the other caregivers can see them.
• Pseudonymous usage events are kept for 12 months, then purged.
• When the LAST member leaves the family, the whole family is deleted from our server — profile, activity log, everything. Leaving is done from Settings. Push tokens go after 180 days without activity, and immediately when you reset the app.

5. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access & export: request a copy of your data by emailing privacy@trainrboost.com.
• Deletion: request complete deletion of your data by emailing privacy@trainrboost.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
• Correction: request correction of inaccurate personal data at any time.
• Object to analytics: turn off "Share usage data" in Settings. Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in France, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

6. Children's Privacy

The person the data describes is your baby, not you. Their first name, birth date, gender, measurements and care log are health-adjacent data about a child, and we treat them as such: never used for advertising, never sold, and deleted from our server as soon as the last member of the family leaves. As the parent or caregiver, you are the controller of that child's data and you exercise their rights on their behalf (GDPR Art. 8). Doudou is not meant to be used by children.
