TakeMyPills Privacy Policy

Health data (GDPR Article 9)

Medication names, schedules, and intake history qualify as "special category" health data under GDPR Article 9. By using TakeMyPills, you give explicit consent to process this data for the sole purpose of medication adherence tracking. We do not share health data with third parties, do not use it for advertising, and do not train models on it. You can revoke consent at any time by erasing all data in Settings → Reset everything. Push notifications never contain medication names so a glance at your lock screen will never reveal what you take.

1. Data We Collect

Puna collects only the data necessary to provide and improve your training experience:

• Profile information: name, age, weight, height, and fitness level provided during onboarding.
• Workout data: exercises performed, sets, reps, duration, and feedback generated during training sessions.
• App preferences: language, unit system, notification settings, and display preferences.
• Anonymous analytics: app usage patterns, screen views, and crash reports collected via PostHog. No personally identifiable information is sent to analytics.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Personalize your training programs, progression, and exercise recommendations based on your profile and history.
• Track your workout streaks, XP, and badges to keep you motivated.
• Improve the app through anonymous, aggregated usage analytics. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly for app functionality:

• RevenueCat: processes subscription status. Receives only a pseudonymous user ID — no personal details.
• PostHog (self-hosted): receives anonymous usage events. No IP addresses or personal identifiers are stored.
• Apple App Store / Google Play: handle payment processing for premium subscriptions under their own privacy policies.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the service:

• Profile and workout data: stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the app, all local data is permanently deleted.
• Anonymous analytics data: retained for up to 12 months, then automatically purged.
• Upon account or data deletion request, we delete all associated server-side data within 30 days. Local device data is deleted immediately upon app uninstall.

5. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access & export: request a copy of your data by emailing privacy@trainrboost.com.
• Deletion: request complete deletion of your data. We will process your request within 30 days.
• Correction: request correction of inaccurate personal data at any time.

Use by minors and caregivers

TakeMyPills is designed for adults managing their own medication or for parents and caregivers tracking medication for children and dependents. Children under 13 should not use TakeMyPills independently. Parents who add a child profile become the data controller for that profile and are responsible for the lawful processing of their child's health data under GDPR Article 8.
