Privacy Policy — Push Ups: 0 to 100

Data we collect

  • Your workout log (levels, sets, reps, streaks) is stored on your device. There is no account and no server copy of it.
  • Pseudonymous usage analytics via PostHog Cloud EU: screens viewed, features used, crash reports — and the summary of each finished session (level, reps, AMRAP, duration). They carry a random install identifier, your app version and device model, and your IP address reaches the server.
  • Advertising identifiers, only with your consent, used by Google AdMob to serve ads in the free version.
  • Purchase state (premium or not) via RevenueCat, tied to a pseudonymous identifier.
  • The exercise animations are downloaded from our own server (trainrboost.com) as you train, so our access log records your IP address and which animation was requested.

What we never collect

No name, no email, no account, no precise location. Your workout log itself never leaves the device — what we receive about your training is the per-session summary described above, under a random identifier. Deleting the app deletes your log.

Third parties

  • Google AdMob (ads in the free version) — non-personalised by default, personalised only with your explicit consent (App Tracking Transparency on iOS, Google's consent form in the EEA and the UK). You can reopen that form anytime from Settings.
  • RevenueCat, Apple and Google (purchase management and payment).
  • PostHog Cloud EU (pseudonymous analytics, hosted in the European Union).
  • Our own server (trainrboost.com) — exercise animations, and remote configuration.
  • Expo (u.expo.dev) — the app checks for a new version at launch, which tells Expo your platform, app version and IP address.

Your choices

  • Turn off Share usage data in Settings → Privacy: the app then stops sending analytics events, at this launch and at every later one.
  • Withdraw your advertising consent at any time from Settings, or remove all ads by purchasing Premium.
  • Erase everything from Settings → Reset. Since there is no account, nothing survives it on our side beyond the analytics events already received, which are pseudonymous: they carry a random install identifier, not your name — resetting also detaches that identifier, so what you do next is no longer tied to what came before.
  • Analytics events are kept for 12 months.
  • Ask what we hold, or lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in France, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
  • Controller: TrainRBoost. Legal basis: performance of the service for your reminders, and our legitimate interest in a working app for crash reports and usage analytics — which you can object to above.
