How often should I change my workout routine?

Training Progression

To keep progressing and avoid hitting a plateau, you should change your workout routine every 6-8 weeks. This doesn't necessarily mean completely overhauling your routine, but making adjustments like:

  • Increasing the weight or reps
  • Changing the exercises
  • Altering the sets or rest time
  • Incorporating new training methods like supersets or circuit training By varying your routine, you'll keep your muscles challenged, prevent boredom, and continue making gains.
