Russian Twists

A rotational core exercise that targets the obliques and improves rotational stability.

Equipment

  • Optional: Medicine Ball

Instructions

  1. 1. Sit on the floor with your knees bent and feet slightly lifted.
  2. 2. Lean back slightly and hold a weight or clasp your hands together.
  3. 3. Rotate your torso to one side, bringing your hands or weight to the floor beside your hip.
  4. 4. Return to the center and twist to the opposite side.
  5. 5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
