Hip Circles

A dynamic stretching exercise that increases mobility in the hips and prepares them for movement.

Equipment

Instructions

  1. 1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and place your hands on your hips.
  2. 2. Shift your weight to your right leg and lift your left knee up to hip level.
  3. 3. Rotate your left knee outward in a circular motion, making large circles.
  4. 4. After several circles, switch legs and repeat the motion with your right leg.
  5. 5. Continue alternating for the desired duration.
