Box Jumps

A plyometric exercise that develops explosive power and strength in the legs and glutes.

Equipment

  • Box or Platform

Instructions

  1. 1. Stand in front of a sturdy box or platform, feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. 2. Bend your knees slightly and swing your arms back.
  3. 3. Explosively jump onto the box, using your arms to gain momentum.
  4. 4. Land softly with your knees slightly bent, then step back down.
  5. 5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
