Oche Privacy Policy

1. What stays on your phone

Oche works without an account. What you enter is stored only on your device, in the app's local storage, and is never sent to our servers:

• your games: the darts or visits entered, the scores and the statistics;
• your players' first names, and how each one should be pronounced;
• your settings.

Uninstalling the app deletes this data from the phone. On Android, the phone's backup to your Google account can include it and restore it when you reinstall the app; you can turn that backup off in the phone's settings.

2. Usage analytics

To improve the app and fix its errors, Oche sends usage events to PostHog, in its EU cloud. They carry a pseudonymous identifier, a random ID created by the app, and cover:

• games: a match started, finished or abandoned, with the game type, the starting score, double out, the number of legs and of players, the entry mode (dart by dart or by visit), the legs played and the duration;
• the app being installed, updated, opened or sent to the background;
• the Premium screen and the steps of a purchase or a restore (started, completed, cancelled, failed), with the plan chosen;
• the checkout trainer's answers (the score to finish, hit or missed, the darts used) and the history being viewed;
• caller settings changed: the language code, the type of voice and the switches;
• ads shown or skipped, and your answers to the tracking and consent prompts;
• the rating request and the what's-new messages, shown and answered;
• errors, crash reports and technical checks (start-up of the app's components, repair of saved data).

These events never contain first names. PostHog also receives the app version, your phone's make and model, its system version, language and time zone, and your IP address reaches its server. The events are kept for 12 months. There is no account and no email address.

3. Advertising

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, never during a game.

• In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, Google's consent form asks for your choice first; ads are personalised only if you agree.
• On iPhone, the App Tracking Transparency prompt asks for your permission before any tracking; if you decline, ads are not personalised.
• Elsewhere on Android, Google may personalise ads with your phone's advertising ID, which you can reset or delete in your phone's settings.
• You can change your ad choices later in the app's Settings, under "Manage privacy choices" (shown where Google requires it), and, on iPhone, in the system settings.
• AdMob also receives your phone's model, its system version and the app version, and your IP address reaches its servers.

4. Premium and purchases

Premium is bought through the App Store or Google Play. RevenueCat tells the app whether Premium is active: the app contacts it at every launch and every time it comes back to the foreground, whether or not you buy anything, with a random app user ID that is not linked to your name or email. When you buy or restore Premium, RevenueCat also processes the purchase receipt. It receives your phone's model, its system version and the app version, and your IP address reaches its servers. We never see your payment details.

5. App updates

Expo (u.expo.dev) — the app checks for a new version at launch, which tells Expo your platform, app version, a random installation identifier and your IP address.

6. The voice caller

The caller uses your phone's own speech synthesis, and Oche only offers voices that run on the device. Oche does not use the microphone and records nothing.

7. Legal basis, controller, transfers

• Controller: TrainRBoost — contact privacy@trainrboost.com.
• Legal basis: performance of the service for Premium purchases and app updates (Art. 6(1)(b)); our legitimate interest in a working app for crash reports and usage analytics (Art. 6(1)(f)), which you can object to at any time by turning off "Share usage data" in the app's Settings; your consent for personalised ads and the use of your advertising identifier (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time; our legitimate interest in funding the free version for ads without personalisation (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• PostHog, RevenueCat and Expo process data on our behalf, as processors. Google (AdMob), Apple and Google Play also process it under their own privacy policies. We do not sell, rent or trade your data.
• Transfers outside the EU: PostHog is in the European Union. Google, RevenueCat, Apple and Expo are established in the United States; those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

8. Children

Oche is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the European Union).

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can, at any time:

• ask to access your data, or to have it corrected or deleted, by writing to privacy@trainrboost.com;
• object to usage analytics, by turning off "Share usage data" in the app's Settings (on by default): the app then stops collecting usage events, from that moment and at every later launch;
• withdraw your consent to personalised ads, in Settings → "Manage privacy choices" (where shown) or, on iPhone, in the system settings;
• lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in France, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
